Sell online

Selling online shouldn't cost you £30 a month before you've made a sale.

Most website platforms charge you for a full storefront — inventory tracking, multi-channel selling, apps you'll never open — whether you need it or not. If you're a barber selling gift vouchers, a bakery taking pre-orders, or a trainer selling sessions, that's the wrong tool for the job. Answer two questions below and I'll tell you honestly which setup actually fits — including when the answer is a proper platform like Shopify, which I also build.

What "Light Commerce" is

Take payment for services, bookings, or digital items straight from your existing site — no extra monthly platform fee, managed from the same admin panel as everything else.

What a full storefront is for

Physical products that need packaging, posting, and stock tracking — inventory, shipping rates, and tax handled by a platform built for exactly that.

The difference isn't how many things you sell — a barbershop with thirty services has zero shipping to worry about. It's whether anything you sell has to be put in a box and posted.
